All work that we create leaves a special mark on the world around us. The purpose of an artist trading card is to represent the work that you create, and that you would trade them with peers and fellow artists around you. For this lesson, students learned about the history of typography and applied their new skills to their very own personalized artist trading cards that are inspired by their lives and the work they create. These cards were inspired
by tarot cards, traditional playing cards, as well as competitive trading cards. The focus was on consistent stylization of illustrations and typography.
